At Our Table Weekly Recipe Roundup - November 28, 2022

Hii! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a great weekend. Thank you for subscribing to the at our table newsletter and for being a part of this with me. There are only a few recipes to share from last week since most of my time was spent with family, which is also why this newsletter is a day late! But, nonetheless, the newsletter has arrived and there are some GOOD recipes in here. Specifically the Dark Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars...literally making my mouth water typing that out.

With Thanksgiving having passed and Christmas on the way, you need something light and healthy to fill your stomach in the in-between of eating cookies, cakes, and pies! We've been feeling that way too and have been craving healthier meals, which is why this chicken and rice meal prep entered the chat. There are so many flavors here and they work so well together! You're going to love it I promise.

Dark Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars with Cardamom Crust

You like the idea of a pie, but not actually eating the pie. It's messy, oddly shaped, and the pieces are too big so you feel guilty having more than one. Don't worry, I've solved your problems. It's all the flavors of a good pecan pie but with chocolate AND in bar form, so it's way easier to eat and you can have like 5 before anyone thinks you're out of control (;

Apple Cider Ginger & Whiskey Smash

Okay...usually we don't make cocktails here and honestly we hardly even drink cocktails, but once or twice throughout fall something switches and a cozy whiskey/apple cider combination sounds better than most fall beverages! It may be iced, but it'll give you that warm, cozy fall feeling as you sip next to your fireplace and play cards. I'll meet you there!!
